Oracle NetSuite
The World's #1 Cloud ERP
About
Oracle NetSuite is the world's most deployed cloud ERP solution, serving 38,000+ organizations globally. It was the first cloud ERP — predating even Salesforce — and provides a unified platform covering financials, CRM, e-commerce, inventory, and HR.
NetSuite is particularly popular with fast-growing companies, private equity portfolio companies, and mid-market businesses that need a scalable, cloud-native platform. The SuiteSuccess methodology provides industry-specific pre-configurations that accelerate implementation.
History
NetSuite was founded in 1998 by Evan Goldberg with backing from Larry Ellison (Oracle's founder). Originally called NetLedger, it was one of the first companies to deliver business applications via the internet — years before "cloud" became a buzzword.
The company went public in 2007 (NYSE: N). In 2016, Oracle acquired NetSuite for $9.3 billion — one of the largest cloud acquisitions at the time. Under Oracle, NetSuite maintained its brand identity while gaining access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. By 2024, NetSuite had 38,000+ customers and was growing at 20%+ annually.
